I aim to convince others they can SEW. It starts out a little shaky for everyone, but I believe this is something anyone can learn. There are obviously differences in level of skill (shout out to couture artists). Even so, I do like the look of something you can tell was done by hand. I appreciate the rougher finish of an experimental attempt to improve one’s woven world (all that is textile that surrounds you). These ventures to change your clothes and greater environment to better suit you, are always situation specific requiring a unique answer to the problem.
This is why I enjoy seeing where someone learned something about sewing by DOing it.
