This tunic was already shown in the Stripped fashion show, but fit the upcycling theme of this show. It used to be a vintage muu muu fitting shirt, until I added elastic thread to gather the back and a couple dart tucks under the bust. The black accents I added give it a nice contrast. I like red and black together, in case there was any doubt (they were my wedding colours!) Carey loved this top so much that she bought it. Sometimes my models are my best clients 
She’s wearing her own jeans, to which I added the flowered applique to the hem. (The applique used to be on the neckline of a shirt, but didn’t work because it was itchy and floppy.) Looks much nicer as a splash of colour on dark denim!
