This is my sister Corinne modelling very last minute for me, when another model wasn’t able to make it. Thank god for family support!
This bolero is a vintage piece whose sleeves I made new, to update it and make it cooler. It has pretty pink rick rack edging the front tie. The shirt underneath is the one from which I removed that flowered applique found on Carey’s jeans. I added in it’s place a black ribbon woven through and a little bow. The shirt used to be a plain, long, straight taffeta skirt. No longer! I made it a wrap skirt with a hidden front pocket, and pleating in the back to give it a little bustle. The long black ribbon that ties it together is nice and long to make a good bow. So many lovely bows!
