Andrea Pelletier will be designing for yet another fashion show hitting up the city as part of the events for gay pride in Winnipeg. The show is called “Indulge” and should be full of unique and extravagant pieces for people of any orientation to enjoy. This should be an awesome and diverse show with 10 local designers showcasing their creations in the name of gay pride. Each designer will also have a table set up for your perusal to sell the outfits being shown that night as well as other pieces they have made. I am excitedly and frantically preparing, having only had one month’s notice to make ten outfits from scratch to show! My collection is coming out cohesive despite the limited time I’ve been given to prepare, and may be the most polished collection to date, if I manage to pull everything off in time. The date of the show is Friday June 12th, and will be held at Augustine United Church at 444 River Ave. (right behing the Second Cup on Osborne). The doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 8:30. You can buy tickets at Sew Dandee (105 Osborne) for $15. Be sure to get your tickets ahead of time, because they probably won’t have any tickets left for sale at the door!
