This outfit was the showstarter, and what a bold colour statement! The tunic is a colourful bird cotton print fabric, with functional pintucks fitting the front and rows of elastic thread fitting the back. The tights are bright red to set off the loud print on top. The lower half has extra fabric to make them slouchy looking and I added rows of gold buttons down the lower outer side.
This look is somewhat unusual for me, because I usually have a darker colour to contrast my bold pieces. Not in this one! And I love it. Most would wear these pieces separately I suppose….
