Do you have a clothing problem?

I am a clothing problem solver. There are all kinds of clothing problems. If you don’t have enough clothes, I can make you some. If you have too many clothes, I can take some off your hands. If your clothes don’t fit properly, I can alter them. If there are features on your clothes that are dated or you no longer appreciate, I can take them off or cover them up. I can help make every piece in your wardrobe one that you love and wear.

I also make things that you won’t wear everyday, but for specific events and occasions. I love making different and extravagant pieces, but I also appreciate a piece featuring simplicity. We can consult to co-design something that would suit you.

Clothes are like little homes for your body. They should be comfortable (both physically and psychologically). They should suit your lifestyle, taste, and budget. They should fit the body that lives there.

What you can get for free

I am a big proponent of Doing It Yourself (DIY) and I think sewing is an extremely useful skill to make your environment how you want it. Is there just one thing you would want to change in a piece of clothing to make it the best piece ever? I would love to help people make things better for themselves, and will put my problem solving skills at your service. Contact me with questions about anything, and I will tell you what I would do. I love it when people sew, and I also loooove to sew. I love talking about sewing with people. You could say I’m pretty taken with the subject. So, if you’re wanting to learn how to DIY, I want to help you.

What I’m selling you

Primarily, I sell clothing design services. This can mean anything from you giving me clothing or fabric to make something, to me making something completely from my own mind and resources, to you requesting certain features to co-design a piece with me. I have experience sewing jackets, shirts, pants, skirts, hats, bags, etc…  I will try to make anything, if you are willing to experiment with me!

I have a stock of some clothes for sale, which are included in the photos on this site. (More to come still)

I have a large stock of fabrics and notions, and work largely from that, but I will be the first to admit that I will never actually stop buying fabric. This is why, my friends, I also offer a large variety of fabrics for sale. If you are looking for a specific kind of fabric, I will do my best to track something down. It will be a little while before I can take pictures of all my fabric to post here (you have no idea the extent of my collection), but please contact me with requests, such as red corduroy or black satin or brown patterned upholstery or striped jersey knit or any number of things. Most of my pieces are 1 or 2 meters, but I do have bigger pieces. Also, ask me about buttons and trims. I really am an avid collector of garment construction materials. A certain colour of wide stretch lace? A particular style of button? It could be in the depths of my workroom!
